What we’re about at Artside In
Here at Artside In, everyone’s an artist. Yes, even you. Whether you’re a kid who “can’t draw” or an adult who hasn’t picked up a paintbrush in years, creativity is a muscle and this is the safe and fun place you need to train it.
Where you learn the rules, then break them on purpose
Hi, I’m Hana, your new art teacher
Let’s get the “boring” stuff out of the way: I’ve got a Bachelor’s in Visual Arts, a Master’s in Education, and I’ve been teaching art for over 20 years. I guess you could say opening Artside In was always bound to happen!
Now for the fun stuff:
I’m a mom to 3 boys who keep me on my toes and have helped me stretch my creative muscles more than anything else.
I’m also a photographer and Carrot Seed Photography was my first “business baby.”
Artside In is the kind of place I always wished existed: a warm, welcoming, kind of weird (in a good way), and super fun studio, where you learn real art skills and have a great time doing it. Here, the process matters more than the final product, and “oops” is usually where the good stuff starts.
